Method on set BIOS to boot from CD/DVD or USB flash drive?
Method 1: Set BIOS to boot from CD/DVD
Please follow the below steps if you want to reset Windows password by burning a CD/DVD.
Insert the CD/DVD into your locked computer.
After the computer start booting, press F2, Delete or F10 to enter into BIOS Setup.
Firstly select Boot on the right column, and then choose Boot Device Priority and then press Enter key.
Select CD ROM on the right column.
Press F10 to confirm and save the above settings, your computer will get restart automatically then.
Method 2: Set BIOS to boot from USB flash drive
Please follow the below steps if you want to reset Windows password by burning a USB flash drive.
Insert the USB flash drive into your locked computer.
Firstly select Boot on the right column, and then choose Boot Device Priority and then press Enter key.
Note: After entering into Boot Device Priority, if you could not find USB flash drive, please back to Hard Disk Drives to set USB flash drive as the 1st Drive instead.
